If you missed it, have a look now at the second webinar held by Green Hysland on 5th October 2022, in collaboration with H2Ports.
This webinar aimed to explore the best practices to decarbonize the maritime sector, involving both port and navy operations. These practices go from new hydrogen-fuelled vehicles dedicated to port activities to the development of new and greener fuels for ferries, like electricity and green hydrogen.
Among the various initiatives, the Green Hysland project was presented, focusing on its application in the activities within the Port of Palma.
Enercy plays a key role in this area: it is going to conduct a study about the decarbonization of the maritime terminals in the ports of Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza, based on the integration of green hydrogen and renewable electricity. Enercy is also going to support Ports of Balears in conducting a decarbonization study about the cold ironing activities within the different ports.
