Enercy’s Chief Technology Officer, Dr Enrique Troncoso, participated as a speaker and panellist at H2SK Forum 2026, held in Košice, Slovakia, on 3–4 June. The international conference brought together hydrogen experts, industry representatives and policymakers to discuss the development of hydrogen valleys and closer cooperation across Europe.
Enrique joined the panel “Why Develop Hydrogen Valleys and How to Finance Them?”, alongside representatives from Hydrogen Architects, HyEnergy, META Circularity and EastGateH2V. The session explored practical experience in implementing hydrogen valleys and the financing needed to turn regional ambitions into operational projects.

As part of the forum’s programme showcasing European hydrogen valleys, Enrique also presented GREEN HYSLAND. The programme featured initiatives including EastGateH2V, SH2AMROCK, ZAHYR and the North Adriatic Hydrogen Ecosystem, providing an opportunity to exchange experience across regions at different stages of hydrogen development.
Organised jointly by the Košice Self-Governing Region, Slovakia’s Ministry of Economy and the National Hydrogen Association of Slovakia, the forum connected these regional experiences with wider discussions on hydrogen infrastructure, market development and Slovakia’s hydrogen ambitions for 2030.
The forum highlighted the value of sharing practical experience across hydrogen valleys. Stronger cooperation between regions can help emerging initiatives build effective partnerships, identify suitable funding and move from planning to implementation.
